Journal of Research for Christianity in China (JRCC, Semi-Annual, ISSN: 2325-9914) is an international and peer reviewed journal. It is edited and published by the Christianity and China Research Center in Los Angeles, USA. JRCC was launched in December 2013. JRCC is an Open Access and all articles are published under a CC BY-NC-ND 4.0. The aim of JRCC is to provide an platform for Chinese Christian studies, publishing scholarly articles and reviews in Chinese or in English on the history of Christianity in China, Chinese religions, culture and etc. All articles related to the Chinese Christian studies are welcomed. All submitted articles are free of charges.

Aims and Scope: JRCC is an international and peer reviewed journal publishing high-quality, original, and significant research in (Chinese) Christian studies. The journal's scope encompasses all studies of Christianity (in China), including historical, philosophical, theological, intellectual and textual research, as well as comparative studies of Christianity, among others. JRCC aims to provide a platform for academic exchange among scholars engaged in the study of (Chinese) Christianity, religion, and culture; to promote dialogue between Chinese Christianity and Chinese religion and culture through academic research; and to offer valuable references and academic reflections for the future development of Chinese culture. The journal particularly focuses on providing an academic platform for young scholars and warmly welcomes those from diverse majors, disciplines, and backgrounds to conduct in-depth analyses on topics related to the construction of Chinese culture. We welcome submissions on Chinese religions, Chinese culture, the history of Christianity in China, Chinese theology, and Biblical studies, especially interdisciplinary, forward-looking, and exploratory articles, as well as academic papers facilitating cultural and religious dialogue. Scholarly book reviews and reports on academic developments are also welcome.

Peer Review Process: All research articles in JRCC have undergone rigorous double-blind peer review, based on initial editor screening and anonymized refereeing by two anonymous referees.

All review and reflective papers in this journal have undergone editorial screening and double-blind peer review.

Footnote Format:  JRCC adopts The Chicago Manual of Style (footnote and bibliography format). Submissions must include a title, abstract, keywords, main text, conclusion, footnotes, and references. For more information, please visit the Footnote Format page. Article Sample are available. 

Publication Frequency: JRCC is published two times a year, in June and December of each year.

Article Processing Charges: JRCC does not charge authors or any third party for publication. Both submission and processing of manuscripts, and publication of articles are free of charge. There are no fees for publishing materials. There are no: "article processing charges" (APCs), "article submission charges", "membership fees" or "language editing fees". We do not charge authors for having colour photos or extra pages in their articles. There are no hidden costs whatsoever.

Author Remuneration: Authors will receive remuneration upon publication, with a minimum payment of RMB 2,000 (pre-tax; final amount subject to article quality). Payment may be discontinued if funding is exhausted.
