Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements:

• This submission meets the requirements outlined in the Notes for Contributors.
• This submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
• All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
• All tables and figures have been numbered and labeled.
• Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with this submission.

Manuscript Submission Checklist

This checklist is designed to assist authors in completing the final stages of the submission process. Following this checklist will ensure that the editorial office does not return your manuscript to you prior to peer review. You do not need to submit this checklist along with your manuscript.

Common reasons for manuscripts being returned by the editorial office:

• The article’s topic does not align with the journal’s scope
• Lack of a literature review or research overview
• Lack of a title page
• Lack of an author information form
• Lack of a response to reviewer feedback (Revised manuscripts only)

Required files:

1. Cover letter (optional)
2. Manuscript (including the title page), comprising the title, abstract, keywords, main text, references, and foot notes
3. Supplementary files (if applicable)
4. Author File (backup)

Title page requirements:

□ Title

□ Full author names (written in last name + first name order)

□ Author ORCID link

□ Author’s institutional affiliation during the research period

Main Text:

□ Introduction (optional)

□ Original Research Article

□ Conclusions and Discussion

□ Highlight Original Contributions

□ References

□ Notes (in-text or footnotes)

Figures and Tables:

□ Figures and tables must cite their sources

□ Images must have authorization from the copyright holder

□ Tables must specify the source of data
