摘要
本文以“生命史”（life history）方法为研究取径，探讨清末至民国时期宣道会在广西边陲地区多民族群体中的改宗历程。广西作为多族群交织之地，既处于国家政治边缘，又展现宗教文化的多元互动。本文透过宣道会档案等材料，重构壮族、瑶族、侗族等群体在福音传入过程中的生命经验。研究指出，改宗并非单向度的宗教接受，而是族群身份、地方文化与信仰实践交错的历史过程。生命史的方法揭示了个体在改宗中的能动性：一方面，信仰转化与族群记忆、本地语言、地方社会网络密切相关；另一方面，宣道会在边陲的策略与地方信徒的回应，共同塑造了 “信仰边缘”的多重样貌。本文认为，透过生命史的微观叙事，可以深化我们对广西边陲基督教在地化及多族群信仰经验的理解，并补充以往以宏观叙事为主的教会史研究。
