Peer Review Process

CCS Publishing is committed to maintaining the highest standards of peer review. Our journals use a double-blind review process, where both authors and reviewers are anonymous to each other.

Review Process Steps

  1. Editorial Screening: The editorial team checks the manuscript for completeness, relevance, and adherence to journal guidelines.
  2. Assignment to Editor: The manuscript is assigned to a handling editor with expertise in the field.
  3. Peer Review: The editor invites 2-3 experts in the field to review the manuscript.
  4. Reviewer Feedback: Reviewers provide constructive feedback and recommendations to the editor.
  5. Editorial Decision: The editor makes a decision based on the reviewer feedback: accept, revise, or reject.
  6. Author Response: If revisions are requested, authors have the opportunity to respond to reviewer comments and resubmit the manuscript.
  7. Final Decision: The editor makes a final decision based on the revised manuscript and reviewer feedback.

The peer review process typically takes 6-8 weeks from submission to first decision. We strive to provide timely feedback to authors while maintaining the quality of the review process.
